nice drawing and expression. I think using some more tones would really help. brighten the eyes. the hotspot on the nose is my center of attention. and also darkening the skin aroudn the eyes and giving more tones throughout the whole face would help seperate it.

It'd been nice to see some neck, maybe a bit of the shoulders and more detail on the hair to match the face, but it's a really nice portrait! Gj.

I'm working on it and should finish it sometime soon - and will add some neck and shoulders Tae. The thing is... i did it before the summer of '06 like the rest of the stuff i have uploaded here, but ended up not liking it and rubbed-out most of it including the nose and highlights. Now i've redone it again using the photo reference, so its going to look different - and the .jpg scan above is the only copy of it before i changed it - so i cant add anything to it. When i finish the final version i'll post it instead of the sketch and leave the image above as a clickable link, i guess. Thanks for all your comments!

The piece is not finished yet, and i'll find some time to work some more on it soon - im not a fan of completely lamentable artwork and will probably cheer the image up a bit rather than leaving it looking sorry and lost. the girl which it is of is far from that.
